Pionier: Tale Talk

Ephrem Baraki Tesfay

I am Ephrem, I am a medical doctor from Ethiopia. I moved to the Netherlands one and half years ago. I grew up with my grandparents in a rural area. I have seen their struggle with age-related problems while they bear the parenting responsibility of their grandson. I think my interest in ageing came from witnessing the inevitable experience my grandparents went through.

Tale Talk aims to create a platform to engage elderly migrants of different origin to express themselves through the stories of their diverse lives. Tale talk will stage the opportunity for elderly migrants to volunteer in different social and cultural activities.
